Default Do you drink water out of a tap?

Just had a thought ^^ How many people here drink water straight out of a tap without filtering it or purchasing bottled water etc.

I do, but only in my local area. If I go interstate or to a different country I always buy bottled water.

Why wouldn't I drink water out of tap?
I mean, my mother cooks with it, and stuff, so I guess its drinkable? ;o

Well that's the thing. When you are cooking with it you are killing the bacteria. (as long as it is boiled) but alot of water that comes from the dams to your tap has so much pollution, bacteria, chlorine and other nasties which is not getting filtered properly. Or so that is what the bottled water companies make you believe lol

yeah I understood your English fine I was just wondering how the water feels cooler straight from the tap since my recognition of water from a tap is warm ^^

I like chilled water too which is why I put my water through a filter and then into a bottle in the fridge.

Of course I do. Only at some, ahem "filthy" countries(sorry) like African countries I use to buy bottled water just to be sure it's healthy.
