Default SEO - Search Engine Optimization

    SEO - Search Engine Optimization
One of the biggest mistakes by many websites is Search Engine Optimization.
Many sites spend too much time on it and never create any new unique content on their site for the search engines to rank! While on the other hand some people spend all there time creating the content but then the search engines don't rank it well.

Like everything in life you need to find the right balance! If you are a new site then I would start off with the right foundation to SEO. One great product on the internet for vbulletin forum owners is a product called VBSEO. This allows you to spend your time worrying about the content instead of the SEO side of things. Once you get the content on your site, then you can start to tweak the SEO side of things more.

But remember you need to create good rich unique content for the search engines if you want your site to be ranked well!

I had my forum, with Nulled vB. I got like 20 people a day to visit it, then i installed vbseo, and I got like 120 new member in 1 day, and got about 60 visits a day.
    It's useful I guess ;o
I got like 1000 member in the end, then the host found out that I wasn't paying for like 6 months and canceled it ;(

moral of the story, don't use nulled software and pay your bills lol

Just remember tho you were quite lucky to see such a fast impact. SEO does not usually happen over night, it usually grows steadily up.

I would firstly choose about 10 keywords that you would like to focus on. then search what sites come up with those keywords. Then improve upon from what those sites are doing and install google analiytics to see how your keywords are tracking then you can make adjustments to improve your ranking. Once you get your site up and running, let me know and i'll take a look to give you some more clear advise.
