Default 10 Tips for an Successfull Forum

Here are some tips if you are planning to make your own Forum and do not know where to start.
    1. Make sure you have enough friends and that they advertise to their friends so that you have lots of members that can stay active.
    2. Make sure your Forum has interesting sections where everyone can have fun.
    3. Have clear rules so that they do not have to be broken.
    4. Advertise enough for more gain of members.
    5. Be Trustworthy so people dont have to leave but stay.
    6. If you code your own site fully make sure all functions are tested.
    7. Have a thrustworthy staff.
    8. If you are a multilanguage person yourself and want to talk in your own language make a language section for all other languages even the ones you cant speak yourself.
    9. Be active yourself. An active Forum without an Active leader is unheard of.
    10. Be formal and clear in speak so everyone can understand you and have respect for eachother.

Sometimes having 3-4 rules is better then having 50 rules which members will never remember or follow. An example could be something along the lines of:
    1. Stay on topic/no spam.
    2. Don't flame/ Be nice.
    3.Post in the correct section.

As an example of course. It all depends on your forum, and you modify the rules based on situations that occur around your site.
